MTI’s Missouri Dental Assisting Program equips you with the skills and experience necessary for an entry-level dental assistant position.
At MTI, you’ll learn how to become a dental assistant in Missouri through a curriculum that’s designed to prepare you for real dental work environments, including chairside procedures, restorative dentistry, dental charting, office administration and more.

MTI’s Missouri campus is located just six miles from downtown Springfield. You’ll find MTI at the end of Glenstone, between Mission Hills and Bradford Park.

Program Length:
35 Weeks (9 months)
Program Hours:
765 clock hours (includes 225 externship hours) / 135 outside clock hours
Daytime Classes:
Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Our first Missouri campus opened in October 2012 in Springfield, covering 39,000 square feet, including a 5,000-square-foot welding shop and classrooms, along with a 3,800-square-foot cosmetology salon. The Springfield campus introduced welding as its initial program, followed by HVAC/R in February 2013, and medical assisting, dental assisting and cosmetology in the following months.
