MTI and WQAD News 8 Sports “The Score” are teaming up again this season to recognize high school student athletes!
You can vote for the MTI Score Standout Athlete on WQAD.com every week from Sept 2024-May 2025.
Here’s how it works:
- Each week, WQAD News 8 Sports will pick 5 of the best individual performances from the week’s edition of The Score.
- Finalists will be announced Saturdays during News 8 at 10p.
- Viewers will go to WQAD.COM and vote for the player they think should receive the award.
- Winners will be announced Thursdays during News 8 at 6p.
