The massage therapy instructors at MTI bring real-world experience to the classroom, providing hands-on instruction and one-on-one interaction to help you develop essential massage therapist skills.
In MTI’s massage therapy program, you’ll learn:
- Basics of self-care, ergonomics, and body mechanics
- Chair and table massage techniques
- Anatomy of movement and kinesiology
- Upper body, lower body, full body, and clinical massage
- Special modalities including lymph, sports, prenatal, infant/child, & more
- Basics of consultation, documentation, and intake assessments
- Review & prep for the the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx)
