What is the average electrician’s salary?
As of May 2023, the median annual wage for electricians was $61,590, with the top 10% earning more than $104,180, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Apprentices typically earn less than fully trained electricians, but their pay increases as they gain experience and advance in their careers.
What’s the job outlook for electricians?
Employment for electricians is projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations (4% through 2033).
