What is the Main Difference Between CDL-A and CDL-B drivers?
There are a variety of commercial vehicles that truck drivers operate, including dry vans, freights, flatbeds, tankers, and more. Each of these truck driving jobs require a Commercial Driver’s License, or CDL.
Understanding the difference between Class A and Class B CDL can help you better understand which license you need to become a CDL driver.
At MTI, you’ll be prepared to earn your CDL A, which allows you to operate any vehicle with a semi-trailer or a trailer with two or more axles. A common Class A vehicle is a tractor trailer, also known as a semi.
